Authentic feminism is the belief that women deserve the same respect as men. That’s a good thing, and something important to support, especially in places of the world like the Middle East where women are viewed as property. The point is, that’s not what “feminism” in the West is about anymore. It has turned into, as you’ve helped affirm by your hostility, a cause people can use as a vehicle for their frustration at life, and wear victimhood like a cape. I have a serious issue with people who claim to call the West an “oppressive patriarchy” when in the Middle East women are basically property.
THAT^ and the fact that modern feminism makes being a female sound like a disability that we need a crutch for. and we cant forget the fact that its being used to secure the mass murder of children for the sake of “womens rights”. feminism has become a disgraceful blemish on society.
